FIELD PLACEMENT
Ottawa Lookout
A month-long placement reporting on local issues, including contributions to coverage of the Bank Street bus-lane pilot in the Glebe and preparation of interviews, field notes and photos for a ByWard Market business story.
Interview subjects included business owners, residents, transit users and city officials.

The Invisible Frontline
A feature exploring mental-health stigma in Latino communities through student interviews, background research, relevant statistics and cited sources.
The Nuvusan Podcast
Hosted, scripted and produced a 12-episode podcast exploring poetry, journalism and music. Directed and scripted three video interviews with local Spanish-speaking artists about culture, resilience and identity.
Freedom of information
Drafted and filed provincial and federal requests concerning mental-health funding and prison rehabilitation programs; organized responses into clear notes and potential story angles.
Photo and video journalism
Campus and downtown Ottawa photography, short video interviews and recorded audio for accurate quotations, with light editing for digital publication.
